With the Deutschlandstipendium, the German government and committed entrepreneurs jointly support talented and high achieving students. In addition to good grades, social commitment and special personal achievements also count in the awarding process. Students can apply for the grants from their 2nd bachelor’s semester or 1st master’s semester.

Together with Münster University of Applied Sciences, Jüke has been supporting talented and committed students for many years within the framework of this program. With the DeutschlandstipendiumPlus, the University of Applied Sciences has launched a new variant of the grant program. Within this program, up to 10 companies from the region finance a defined pool of highly qualified students over a period of two years. Each company is visited once during the project period. The grant recipients get to know top companies from the region in depth, make contact with management and HR managers, and take part in an attractive social program. They work in an interdisciplinary manner with the other students from other departments and also receive a monthly grant of 300 euros.

Jüke supports this program out of conviction. “We need well-trained and committed young talents for our tasks and projects. By exchanging ideas with them, we get a lot of inspiration and a good insight into the goals and values of young people,” says Heinrich Jürgens, Shareholder Managing Director of Jüke Systemtechnik GmbH, making clear the value of the program for companies. “In addition, we can exchange ideas with other sponsors and discuss current challenges. We learn a lot in this program. That’s why we have been involved from the beginning and will continue to be involved.”

In the last round, Jüke supported Frederick Banker as a bachelor student. He worked on a technologically challenging project in the Mechanics Development department under the supervision of Rainer Gendermann and very successfully completed his bachelor’s thesis with a convincing solution. For him, it will continue with the master’s program.
